DoorTalk 1 has no built in SIP Server while DoorTalk 2 comes with built in SIP Server which means it can work standalone.

When it comes to specs yes there is a differences and one of that is the camera.
DoorTalk 1: 2MP while DoorTalk 2: 5MP the rest can be found on DoorTalk Manual.
